Welcome to Desirable Gem! I'm Daniela Iurato and I am a fourth year Ryerson University Student. I have decided to create Desirable Gem, a company focusing on women's fashion accessories from the past and bringing them to the modern woman.

The 1920's and 1930's was a huge outbreak for womens fashion and especially for their accessories. I have been interguied to look up the flapper's hair accessories and recreate them with a modern twist. With much research these beautifully hand crafted headbands can be worn for any occasion.

 

Initially this idea has been inspired from my year end independant study to graduate University. I have always been fascinated by the art of creating headbands with intricate details. I have been influenced by the Flapper's style and I hope to bring the roaring 20's style back to the modern woman. 

 

These fashionable headbands can be worn for any occasion and by any age! My mission is to create a personalized and customized accessory foccusing on the womans life-style and creating happiness.
